Bud Pierce to be Grand Marshal of Festival of Lights Parade

Bud Pierce, cancer doctor and 2016 candidate for Oregon governor, has been named grand marshal of the Dec. 12 Festival of Lights Holiday Parade in Keizer. This is the 25th anniversary of the nighttime parade, which started in Salem and moved to Keizer in 2011. The theme of this year’s parade is Silver Bells. 

Event Description

It's the 25th Anniversary for the Festival of Lights Holiday Parade! Come join us in Keizer, December 12th, for a full day of fun activities!

3pm Holiday Vendor Village opens at Skyline Ford. Vendors selling everything from food to holiday crafts, kids tent, and more!

Glow Run starts at 6pm. Come light up the night with a 5K starting at Coumbia Bank

The Parade begins at 7pm, starting at River and Lockhaven and ending at Glynbrook. Come early and get your seats along the route! 
**Please do not set up chairs along the sidewalk prior to the parade. We want to make sure that everyone can still get around safely during the day**

After Glow kicks off officially at the end of the parade (roughly 8:30). Come see all of the winning floats, grab some hot coco, coffee, donuts, and gifts for the holidays! After Glow will run until 10 pm
